Thermal Transfer – This is when there is a ribbon between the print head and the media. The head applies heat to the ribbon and the ribbon prints on the media. Like the direct thermal list of stock items the thermal transfer media has an even longer list of stock sizes. We supply thermal transfer paper, synthetic, and reflective material.

Direct Thermal – This is when the printer applies heat “direct” to the media and prints without a ribbon. We have an extensive list of direct thermal labels on a ¾” , 1” , and 3” core as in stock and priced to move. With the ability to provide direct thermal to paper and synthetic with a custom size we can meet all your direct thermal needs.
